Radio Reconnaissance Technologies, Inc. (RRT) was originally formed in 1992 as a sole proprietorship with a group of associated tactical and technical subject matter experts. We incorporated in 1997 and established the corporate office and the training and production facility in Stafford County, Virginia just north of Fredericksburg, Virginia. In 2015 RRT moved to its current facility in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Since its inception RRT has evolved to offer significant capabilities in system design, integration, fabrication, and rapid prototyping as well as the modification of commercial items for use in tactical field environments.

RRT’s method is to work very closely with our corporate clients and DoD operational personnel to closely review and assist in defining new equipment design specifications. The understanding of how equipment is to be used, coupled with its form and fit is as critical to the product's eventual development as is the actual function of the new design. We then apply our electrical, mechanical, integration and military power solution engineering experience to ensure the final product outcome either matches or exceeds operational expectations. RRT produces numerous intelligence collection systems, ruggedized repackaged gear, specialized cases and custom power products with the two most well-known being the HIDRAH® and the Flexmaster®. Being manufacturers of tactical field IO/IW/EW equipment lends RRT a particularly keen insight when providing technology evaluation, design oversight, product acquisition and system integration tasks, as well as when providing alternate engineering and implementation feasibility recommendations.

RRT’s corporate headquarters is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our facility consists of multi-media classrooms, office spaces, prototype machine shop, and electrical production / testing workshop. We are conveniently located 45 miles south of Washington DC (Pentagon) and are within minutes of rural and urban areas for testing and training. RRT maintains a staff of dedicated personnel that includes electrical engineers, electronic maintenance specialists, training specialists and cryptologic personnel. RRT has a U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) facility clearance and personnel maintaining active Government DoD clearances and accesses. Our customers receive not only the latest technology and training, but years of practical field experience aimed at improving your organization’s readiness, field performance and operator awareness.
