Watch Cap was developed with the Incidental EW Operator in mind and represents the first viable body-worn Radio Direction Finding System. Watch Cap eliminates the visual signature of conventional ground DF systems enabling the deployment of Electronic Warfare Support (ES) devices throughout the force. The unit is fully integrated into a helmet cover requiring no modifications to the helmet. Deployed independent of other systems, Watch Cap can be used as a stand-alone system or can easily function as part of a family of sensors capable of providing tactical Indications and Warnings (I&W) to supported units or ES data to adjacent and higher elements. Watch Cap brings the capabilities of RRT's Tactical Handheld Emitter Finder (THiEF) in an even lighter, lower-profile package.
